Adventures in ideas for curious children

PEiPL Ltd (ACN 645 269 919) is an Australian not-for-profit company registered with the
Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) with charitable status.
What is a Eurekamp Oz! Scholarship?

PEiPL’s programs include Eurekamp Oz!, with 2-day/4-day long programs, currently
scheduled to be held at the University of Western Australia.

PEiPL Ltd has established a Eurekamp Oz! Scholarship Program, administered jointly with our partner, the University of Western Australia. It is a Public Learning Destination of the
Children’s University.

A Eurekamp Oz! Scholarship covers costs, in part or in whole, of registration with the value
of a full Eurekamp Oz! Scholarship being equivalent to the cost of camp registration for one child.

Why are Scholarships important?

We believe that Eurekamp Oz! should be open to all children, regardless of the ability of their families to pay for camp registration in part or in full and strive to remove the barriers that children may face to participation. We recognise the value of equity and of diversity in camp composition, and that effective access to a university-based program, especially one associated with philosophy, will be limited for some children.

Who is eligible for a Eurekamp Oz! scholarship?

A family may be eligible for a Eurekamp Oz! Scholarship because of economic need, unemployment and under-employment, hardship associated with disability and illness, and having educational opportunities that have been significantly limited. We recognise that COVID raises equity considerations here, including for single parents, students, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Peoples.

If you are a child aged between 3 and 14 years or a parent of a child aged between 3 and 14 years interested in attending a Eurekamp Oz! program and believe that you may be eligible for a scholarship, please contact us by completing the form below. Scholarships consistent with the objectives of PEiPL’s Pay-It-Forward Policy will be awarded at the Board’s sole discretion and subject to funding availability.
